Dr. Bastian Bäcker is a NASA Postdoctoral Fellow working with Barbara Cohen at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. He is researching mesosiderites, a class of enigmatic differentiated meteorites that contain both metal and silicate. He is investigating he formation and origin of these meteorites using petrology and noble gas measurements.
